Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any prior experience to join?

NO! We LOVE beginners. We offer many programs that teach your athlete the basic fundamentals and technique to get them started safely in this sport!

Do I need to know what event I want to do?

No! We encourage athletes to try all of the events to find the one that they love and can be competitive in! There is no pressure to specialize.

How often should I attend classes toprogress?

The basic amount that we suggest is coming at least 2x a week. If your athlete is wanting to compete and train at a high level, then we suggest 4x a week. When an athlete comes 2x a week they just get in the technical part of the event. When an athlete comes 4x a week, then they get 2 speed and strength days and 2 technical days.

Is Track & Field suitable for all ages?

It is! We start our programs at 9 years old. Some specific events are required to be at least 10.

Do you offer competitions?

RTB Athletes that compete in the T&F Club will have the opportunity to compete on the local, regional, and national level.

Are there any fitness requirements for training?

No! All fitness levels are welcome!
